What happens on this train?
Passengers are invited to wear their pajamas on the train. Passenger cars are decorated for the holidays. The Conductor will punch each passengers train ticket.
En route to the North Pole:
The book, The Polar Express will be read. Music from The Polar Express movie will be played. Passengers are served hot chocolate and cookies by chefs.
At the North Pole, and the return portion of the train tour:
Santa Claus and elves await the passengers (passengers are not allowed off of the train). Santa Claus and elves board the train. Elves will be in each train car and will entertain passengers and lead them in singing Christmas carols. Santa Claus moves through each train car, will greet each child, giving them their own personal silver bell.
What is at the Event Site?
- A Gift Store where a professional photographer will be available
to take pictures of
friends and family. - Any unsold tickets that may be available, can be purchased at the ticket counter the date of the event (only), beginning at 3:30pm each day.

How much do tickets cost?
Regular coach seating:
Adults = $30 plus 8.25% sales tax
Children (2-12 years) = $22 plus 8.25% sales tax
Children (under 2) = FREE
Coach Seating is two levels of seating with paired seats on both sides of the aisle.
Families can find seats across aisles or in front and back of each other.
Lower Dome Seating
Adults = $45 plus 8.25% sales tax
Children (2-12 years) = $35 plus 8.25% sales tax
Children (under 2) = $10 plus 8.25% sales tax
Sit eight feet above the ground in our luxurious lower dome seating.
Each guest in dome service will be served their hot cocoa in a Polar Express souvenir mug that is yours to keep!
Important:Seating configuration on dome require guests to purchase tickets in even numbers. This allows the railroad to best accommodate all passengers purchasing
these premium seats while not splitting up groups.
Upper Dome Seating
Adults = $50 plus 8.25% sales tax
Children (2-12 years) = $40 plus 8.25% sales tax
Children (under 2) = $10 plus 8.25% sales tax
Sit sixteen feet above the ground in our luxurious upper dome seating with extended windows for viewing.
Each guest in dome service will be served their hot cocoa in a Polar Express souvenir mug that is yours to keep!

Are there any refunds?
Unfortunately, due to the popularity of this train tour, there are no refunds, reschedules or cancellations. Please be sure that when you make your reservation that you know exactly which date and which train time you wish to secure.

All ticket sales are final.
All tickets should be picked up at the will call window, at the station, the same day of the event. Will call opens at 2:30pm December 11 & 16-23; opens at 4:30pm on November 18 - December 10 & December 12-15. Everyone attending must have a ticket, including children sitting on your lap under the age of two (a ‘babe-in-arms’ ticket can be obtained from our reservation agent or online.)
